WIC provides supplemental foods, nutrition education, access to a dietitian, breastfeeding support, and healthcare referrals. Families on WIC can also receive other government benefits (SNAP/food stamps, TANF, Medicaid).

To be eligible for WIC, a person must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a pregnant, breastfeeding (up to one year postpartum) or non-breastfeeding (up to six months postpartum woman; or an infant, or a child up to five years old.
  • Be income eligible (see below).
  • Have identification and proof of income and address.

Farmers’ Market at Holy Comforter

WIC families get $10 of FREE fruits and veggies every Tuesday at the Broomfield Farmers' Market at Holy Comforter Church (1700 West 10th Avenue). This is an additional benefit provided to WIC clients in the summer. Bring your eWIC card to the Market Bucks tent to get your free punch card. Fun for the whole family!
