DESCRIPTIONGain knowledge and skills in understanding urban wildlife. Learn the behavior and life cycles of several common species that live in our backyards and surroundings.
TIME COMMITMENT & SCHEDULEAttend a two day intensive training. Donate 20 hours a year to the program after training. Keep up with current trends by attending advanced training annually.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIESAnswer phone questions about wildlife issues and conflicts, may assist in habitat restoration projects.
TRAINING, SUPERVISION & SUPPORTCSU Extension Specialists, Wildlife Specialists and experts.
REQUIREMENTS
(i.e. valid driver's license,
age limit, application required)
Volunteer application and Disclosure Form for background check are required. Must pass background check. Valid CO driver's license, 18 or older, interest in helping people understand wildlife.
