Chore Program Volunteer (Handyman) Perform minor home related repairs and installing fixtures for seniors.  Typical jobs may include: safety issues for the senior (grab bars, railings), surface electrical  work, plumbing (caulking, draining, minor leaks), hanging fixtures, insulate doors, repair broken furniture items.  All minor repairs, no large and labor intensive projects. July 27, 2009
     
Special Projects - Limited Various special projects will help organize and maintain the services at the Senior Center.  Many projects include: filing, phone calling, inventory, and organization. The projects will be supervised by the Senior Services staff and are limited in term based on project need.  Must fill out application and successfully pass background check.   February 17, 2010
     
Meals On Wheels Substitute Drivers Deliver meals to Broomfield residents in there home.  Hot, nutritious, and fresh daily.  Senior Services will call substitute drivers to deliver meals on a pre-determined route.  A substitute driver is on call so notice may be given days in advance or call the day we need meals delivered.  March 3, 2010
