Playful Dramatics: Tales of Three
Come explore drama through theatre exercises, storytelling, and playmaking. Young imaginations will grow as students play - act a variety of tales including The Three Bears, The Three Pigs, and The Billy Goats Gruff . Story telling will be explored through improvisation using costumes, props, movement, and music. There will be a parent sharing on the last day of class.

Make Them Laugh: Clowning

Creative Play
Parents and toddlers will love to explore drama together in this creative play-based class. The class will assist with developing your toddler’s oral language, listening skills, motor skills, coordination, classroom skills, and social skills while fostering a love for imaginative play. A different theme will be explored each week.

Improvisational Acting
Creating a character comes from exploring various ways to portray body movement, voices, emotions, and sense memory. Improvising these things is the key for every actor to become a living, believable character. Students will work on developing fundamental acting skills through a variety of acting exercises and individual and group scene work. There will be a parent sharing on the last day of class.

Stage Make-Up
Students will learn the basics of applying stage makeup. They will be introduced to technique for old age, animal, and fantasy makeup. Audition Technique

There will be a parent sharing on the last day of class.

Performance Workshops
In the performance classes, students will learn and strengthen fundamental acting skills and be coached on character development while rehearsing for a final performance for family and friends. For the following classes, memorization of lines is required. Costumes will be provided. Youth TaeKwon Do  This class is open to all students, white through black belt for students under 12 years old, and any level, white through black belt. It is specifically oriented for the younger crowd and is less strenuous. This class develops TaeKwon Do techniques in a manner and pace suitable for kids. Jump Bunch Jump Bunch introduces sports and fitness to your child in a hands-on setting. The program utilizes a different sport or activity each class. Jump Bunch builds coordination and interest in sports in a safe, non competitive environment. It also fosters a positive attitude so that children are eager to try new activities. Explore simple machines using larger LEGO Duplo pieces, which are easier to manipulate for small hands. Projects include: Seesaw, Stamper (with multiple complex levers), Car & Launcher, Cab & Trailer, Crane and Fan (using a belt drive system). Concepts include learning about levers (fulcrum, load, effort), wheels and axles (transporting heavy loads with less effort), pulleys (reducing friction; adding speed and strength) and gears (what, why and how).

Our cartoon drawing lessons will stoke your child’s artistic fire. Your child will learn animation techniques in our anime - themed expression lesson. They will also learn personification as they transform ordinary cameras into fully realized cartoon characters. Learning to tell a story through a series of drawings will be the focus in our illustrations featuring a humorous drive-thru sequence and a colorful piñata sequence.

Young Rembrandts Cartooning Under The Sea Workshop
What a great opportunity to draw original Young Rembrandts’ fish characters! Our fish characters will consist of sharks, jelly fish, octopi and others. We will give our fish characters expressions and will pace them in fun, action scenes. On our final day, we will draw a large scene of the coral reef environment, inviting a great opportunity to use a variety of colors and textures. Our creative juices will flow as we develop new and fun characters! Pencils, markers and Sharpies™ will be used.

Join us for this three day pastel workshop as we learn about Mexican culture and artistry. Students will learn about pattern application and design creation and also have the opportunity to strengthen their compositional and coloring skills as they illustrate musical instruments that are important to Mexican heritage. We’ll learn about painter Diego Rivera and create a pastel masterpiece inspired by his work. No prior experience with pastel chalks is necessary.
