Swim, bike and run with us!
WELCOME Join us for the third annual Mini HaHa Triathlon designed for recreational athletes looking for a new challenge. This is
not the Olympics. You won't see game faces, only smiling faces. Build your self-confidence with this new experience.
Register as an individual or get your family and friends to join you as a team.
Enjoy our Hawaiian theme; we reward
finishers with leis.
DISTANCES Our Mini Triathlon
involves swimming, road biking and running in that
order. Start by swimming 300
yards (12 lengths) in the Broomfield Rec Center
indoor pool. Then bike a 5.5 mile loop twice for a total of
11 miles. Finally, run or walk 2 miles on paths to the finish
line!
packet
pickup
An information meeting
will be held on Tuesday June 10 from 5-6PM.
Packet pickup will follow and continue through
Saturday June 14 at Broomfield Recreation.
Participants receive a t-shirt and 2 free tickets to the Bay the day of the Triathlon.
(The Bay opens at

WARM-UP
On Triathlon Day, the pool
and transition area open at 7AM
for warm-up and transition set-up. Warm-up and
transition areas close at
7:45AM for the race start.
Athletes will not be allowed
in after 8AM to give all athletes the
easiest transition experience possible. Swim heats begin at 8AM
and start every 10 minutes
thereafter. Swimmers will be heated fastest to
slowest according to
their "Estimated Swim
Time" entered on the Registration form.
BROOMFIELD
POLICE AND VOLUNTEERS During the event, the
Broomfield Police Department will help at major
intersections to ensure the safety of all athletes,
pedestrians and drivers. Along the biking
course, signs will be posted alerting drivers that an event
is taking place and orange cones will help guide the
cyclists. Note that all traffic laws must be obeyed and
helmets are required. Volunteers
are needed. We will post them at water
stations
along the biking and running courses. These
volunteers will help guide and cheer on
the participants in the event. They
receive a free t-shirt and an invitation to the volunteer appreciation
party at the Bay.
