Welcome! Organizational Values
The Broomfield Police Department provides law enforcement services to the City and County of Broomfield. The Department’s 200 employees, including 146 sworn police officers, provide not only traditional police services, but also county-related services, such as the detention center, courthouse security, and emergency management. As a result of the efficiencies realized by combining both municipal and county law enforcement services into one law enforcement agency, the City and County of Broomfield enjoys one of the lowest crime rates in the state of Colorado.
