 Characteristics:

Family: Rosaceae

Origin: Native

Description:

  • Perennial, 1-1.5 feet tall

Stems:

  • Multi-stemmed from the base

Flowers:

  • Light yellow flower with 5 petals

Leaves:

  • Palmately compound with 5-7 leaflets per leaf

Fruit:

  • Flower produces one single oval seed

Additional information:

Flowering occurs May to July.  Found in disturbed and undisturbed areas.
