Broomfield Municipal Code - Chapter 2-42. The Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee (OSTAC) was established to advise the city council on amendments to the open space element of the master plan. OSTAC is charged with the responsibility of making recommendations to the city council regarding the following:

• the acquisition of open space parcels;

• the location, type, and timing of trail segments and crossings; and

• a long-range plan for open space use and management.

There are seven at-large, City Council-appointed Broomfield residents with four-year overlapping terms, one ex-officio City Council member and one alternate ex-officio. Openings are advertised each year, followed by City Council interviews. Terms start in April. Current members are:

There will be no March 2010 meeting. The next meeting will be on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 6 pm. The meeting will be in the Zang Spur Room, located on the lower level of the City and County Building at One DesCombes Drive. The public is welcome to attend.
