Join us July 4 for the Great American Picnic
You are cordially invited to join us at Broomfield's Great American Picnic for food, entertainment and fireworks Saturday, July 4, 2009.

Schedule of Independence Day activities -

10 a.m. - 6 p.m. - - The Bay Aquatic Park is Open all Day!

Noon - - Senior vs. City Council Softball game at Northmoor Park.

5 p.m. - - Children’s entertainment and carnival games for all ages. Enjoy $5 inflatables, a free petting zoo, concessions and $3 pony rides. All at the Championship Field at the Broomfield County Commons Park.

5:30 p.m. - - Great American Picnic's 3nd Annual Bike Parade - Show your patriotic spirit and join the 3nd Annual Great American Picnic Bicycle Parade! Decorate your bicycles/tricycles/wagons and scooters and meet at the Championship Field at Broomfield County Commons on Saturday, July 4th at 5:30 p.m. The bike parade is for everyone of all ages.

5:30 p.m. - - Free concert: on the Entertainment Stage performed by the 17th Avenue Allstars!

5:45 p.m. The parade around the Commons will begin at 5:45 pm. Kids are required to wear a helmet! Each child in the parade receives a participation ribbon and a free pass to the Broomfield Bay Aquatic Park! Come be a part of this new tradition in Broomfield, at the Great American Picnic!

6:30 p.m. - - Free Star Pops given out at the City Council Tent.

7 p.m. - - Free concert on the Entertainment Stage performed by the Nacho Men!

9:15 p.m. - - Fireworks - After the concert -at dusk - the fireworks display begins at Broomfield County Commons Park.
