The City and County of Broomfield's Great Pumpkin Festival has combined with the Broomfield Event Center's Trick-or-Suite to bring you "Fall Fest" on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 at the Broomfield Event Center, 11450 Broomfield Lane, for $5 per child. The admission fee also guarantees the child to a ticket to that night’s Rocky Mountain Rage hockey game against the Arizona Sundogs. Parents can purchase their own hockey tickets at the box office during the afternoon event for $5 so they can accompany their children to the game.
Children under two years of age are admitted free.
The fun begins at 1 p.m. with carnival games, inflatables, ice skating, Trick-or-Suite and hayrides.
Halloween costumes are welcome, but if you plan on skating, please make sure they can be removed for safety on the ice!
At 4 p.m., participants will move outside to enjoy warm apple cider at a ribbon-cutting for a new park at Arista. The park has a fire pit and decorative water fountain. Prizes will be given away after the ribbon-cutting. Kids can enjoy adding their artwork on the surrounding sidewalks with sidewalk chalk provided by the event center.
The event center doors will reopen at 5:30 p.m. for the game.
