Opening December 2006 With the Broomfield City Council and Urban Renewal Authority approvals in August, Broomfield has an exciting new venue to look forward to … a place for sporting events, concerts, family shows, community based events, farmers markets, conventions, trade shows, educational and religious events, rodeos, and carnivals.
The Broomfield Event Center will add a brand new dimension to life in Broomfield and the northwest metro region. This world-class event center will offer more than 130 events each year.
In this state-of-the art building, with 6,000 seats and 185,700 square feet of space, look for affordable family-oriented entertainment, business and educational opportunities. The Broomfield Event Center will also include retail space that will enhance the activities planned there. And the best part is that this event center is Broomfield’s very own venue. Broomfield owns it, and careful planning and negotiations with a management team have made the difficult operations piece of a venue like this a partnership.
