STATEMENT FROM BROOMFIELD CITY AND COUNTY MANAGER GEORGE DI CIERO:

 

 

On April 15, 2010, a Broomfield employee, Lori Millar, was arrested and lodged at the Broomfield Detention Facility on suspicion of felony theft from her employer. Millar has been placed on unpaid administrative leave and appropriate personnel action will be taken according to Broomfield’s personnel policies.

 

The matter is now in the hands of the District Attorney’s office.  Broomfield staff and management brought the matter to the attention of law enforcement and have fully cooperated with the investigation.

 

No additional comment on the pending criminal case will be forthcoming from the City and County of Broomfield administration at this time.
