HHS, LiveWell Broomfield offer workshops
on chronic disease for patients and care givers

Broomfield HHS and LiveWell Broomfield are offering a series of workshop sessions for for anyone with a chronic disease and their caregivers.

The six 6 weekly workshop sessions are designed by the School of Medicine at Stanford Universiy and will take place at the Broomfield Community Center Thursday, April 23 through Thursday, May 28. 

Titled “Healthier Living:  Managing Your Chronic Health Conditions,” the series will teach participants techniques to deal with problems related to chronic health conditions - fighting fatigue, dealing with depression, controlling pain, learning exercises to build and improve strength, effective communication skills with family and health professionals and more.
