Sept. 28 - Kiosk unveiling - A kiosk that offers
touch-screen access to the public on topics ranging from where to obtain
birth certificates to downloading tax forms was unveiled here Thursday
evening. The kiosk is sponsored by the General
Services Administration (GSA) partnering with Vice President Gore's National
Partnership for Reinventing Government (NPR) Hassle-Free
Communities program. Representatives from the city included the Mayor,
City Council members, the Assistant City Manager and various department
personnel. Representatives from other government agencies were also in
attendance. The kiosk is located. in the
lobby area of the Mamie Doud Eisenhower
Library at the Broomfield Municipal Building.
