Fireworks Lighting System
Residents are reminded that weather conditions always play a role in this annual event. If fire and police officials determine that continuing the fireworks display impacts the safety of individuals and property in the area, the display could be delayed or stopped. Should that happen, announcements will be made over the public address system and staff will notify viewers of the status. Please look for the lights located in the field where fireworks are displayed to see the fireworks display status.

A lighting system, located as close to fireworks firing area as possible, will inform viewers of the status of the fireworks show. Weather permitting, green means the show is a “go.” Yellow indicates it is in a holding pattern, and red indicates that due to weather concerns the firework show is cancelled.
