Colorado Youth Adventures
Join us for our monthly trips with youth from around the Metro area.These trips are offered in cooperation with the City of Broomfield, Hyland Hills Recreation District, City of Englewood, Commerce City, City of Brighton, and Estes Valley Recreation and Parks. These unique monthly trips offer your youth with the opportunity to meet youth from around the Metro area and participate in unique trips offered by the Colorado Youth Adventures.

2015 National Western Stock Show
Join us for a taste of the West! Today we will be heading to the 2015 National Western Stock Show for a day of riding, roping and yeehaws! Skiing & Snowboard Trip at Eldora

Estes Park: Stanley Hotel Tour, YMCA of the Rockies (Snowshoeing)

We are introducing a new age grouping to serve as a bridge between our Make Believe and Beyond and Performance Workshop classes. Students will develop fundamentals of acting through theatre exercises and rehearsing a scripted piece (a condensed version of one of our Performance Workshop scripts) for a final performance for family and friends. Memorization of lines is required. The $25 performance fee is due on the first day of class to the instructor.

Creative Play
Parents and toddlers will love to explore drama together in this creative play-based class. Acting is playing and toddlers are great actors! The class will assist with developing your toddler’s oral language, listening, fine and large motor, coordination, classroom, and social skills while fostering a love for imaginative play. Different themes such as the zoo, ocean, farm, and forest will be explored each week.

How To Register?
Registration for all dance classes is easy. Late registrations are welcome. Just come to the first class and register at that time. No dancer is turned away! Questions are answered at the first class before the tuition is collected. Sorry, no refunds or discounts for missed classes. Please make checks payable to Taps ‘N Toes.
What To Wear? 
Comfortable clothing including dance attire, sweats, or shorts. Shoes can be ballet slippers, jazz shoes, or even tennis shoes will do. There are NO additional registration fees or costume costs. 

This class is designed for dancers who want to learn to dance tap, ballet, and jazz. We dance to Disney-type classics, fun oldies, and cute jazz numbers. The last class is a show to perform all of the numbers for parents and grandparents. Class meets in the fitness room. Remember, dance is for everyone!!

Youth Taekwondo  
This class is open to all students, white through black belt for students under 12 years old, and any level, white through black belt. It is specifically oriented for the younger crowd and is less strenuous. This class develops Taekwondo techniques in a manner and pace suitable for kids. Jump Bunch
Jump Bunch introduces sports and fitness to your child in a hands-on setting. The program utilizes a different sport or activity each class. Jump Bunch builds coordination and interest in sports in a safe, non competitive environment. It also fosters a positive attitude so that children are eager to try new activities. Cars Of The Speedway Workshop
Be prepared to experience the thrills of the motor speedway as we illustrate a variety of racing scenes over the course of three days. Realistic stock cars and formula racers will be drawn during the first day of class. The second day we will draw a variety of cartoon cars. The final day of our workshop will introduce our students to pastel chalks as they create a dynamic scene of a race car in motion. No experience is necessary. Rock Out! Workshop
For every child who dreams of partying like a rock star, YR offers Rock Out! During the opening act, students will draw stylized instruments. And the party never seems to end as we illustrate close-up portraits of rock stars on the second day. Then it’s time for a change of tune as we create rock-inspired cartoons on the third day. Rocking-out musicians will be the headlining act on the fourth day. And finally, it’s time to hit the stage as we draw an awesome concert scene to close out our last day of class. Outer Space Workshop
We will explore the topic of space while working in three different media. Day 1,we draw space ships and aliens while completing our drawing with color pencils. Superhero Cartoon Workshop

Travel the World through Arts and Crafts Camp
Come aboard the Abrakadoodle travel machine to explore a variety of countries and their unique styles of arts and crafts. Create stained glass rose windows from France, movable dancing shadow puppets from Indonesia, skeleton name art from Mexico and animals in the style of Australian aboriginal bark paintings. Please note: Campers will create multiple projects each day. At Home Alone with first Aid
This popular entertaining workshop is designed to prepare children to be at home alone. Advanced Care Baby-Sitting Course
This course is designed to give the knowledge necessary for first time baby-sitters 11 - 14 years of age to be responsible for young children and includes a baby-sitting certificate and CPR/First Aid certification thru American Heart Association. The skills covered are CPR/First Aid, growth and development, prevention and personal safety, discipline, fire safety and basic child care feeding, diapering and bathing. Defensive Driving - Level 1 
This is a four hour class designed to encourage drivers to understand the hazards of driving. We will learn how to keep our focus on driving and not become distracted. We will discuss the dangers of speeding and the importance of wearing seat belts. This class is a great refresher course for the adult driver, or an introductory class for the new driver. This class is taught by a former Colorado State Patrol officer who brings her years of experience working on the highways of Colorado into the classroom. Payable by CASH ONLY day of class. Class day registration begins at 30 minutes prior to start of class. CASH only is accepted.
