Colorado Youth Adventures
Join us for our monthly trips with youth from around the Metro area.These trips are offered in cooperation with the City of Broomfield, Hyland Hills Recreation District, City of Englewood, Commerce City, City of Brighton, and Estes Valley Recreation and Parks. These unique monthly trips offer your youth with the opportunity to meet youth from around the Metro area and participate in unique trips offered by the Colorado Youth Adventures.

Snow Tubing and Beau Jo’s Pizza
Have a blast mountain tubing over winter break at Colorado Adventure Park. We’ll be tubing in Fraser and stopping for lunch at Beau Jo’s Pizza on the way home. Lunch is included in the fee but you may want to bring a snack. Dress for the weather (hat, gloves, winter coat, snow pants, goggles & sunscreen).

2015 National Western Stock Show
Join us for a taste of the West! Today we will be heading to the 2015 National Western Stock Show for a day of riding, roping and yeehaws! Paint a horse or rope some cattle then end the day with a Wild Wild West Show. Fee includes general admission to Stock Show and Ticket to the Wild West Show. Dinner is not provided, so please send your child with money to purchase a meal.

Skiing & Snowboard Trip at Eldora
Join us on President’s Day at Eldora Mountain Ski Resort. We will meet at the Northglenn Recreation Center at 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning and head to Eldora for a full day of skiing or snowboarding. Bring money for lunch. Pre-registration by February 6 is required. Participants must be 12 years or older for this trip!

Estes Park: Stanley Hotel Tour, YMCA of the Rockies (Snowshoeing)
Join us today as we take a day trip up to Estes Park. We will begin our day with some Snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain National Park. Please pack a lunch today as we will eat on the trail. After Lunch we will head to the Stanley Hotel for an out of this world “Haunted Tour!”

At Home Alone with first Aid
This popular entertaining workshop is designed to prepare children to be at home alone. Important skills are learned through interactive lessons and role play that help make both you and your child more confident when they are at home alone. Advanced Care Baby-Sitting Course
This course is designed to give the knowledge necessary for first time baby-sitters 11 - 14 years of age to be responsible for young children and includes a baby-sitting certificate and CPR/First Aid certification thru American Heart Association. The skills covered are CPR/First Aid, growth and development, prevention and personal safety, discipline, fire safety and basic child care feeding, diapering and bathing. Students need to bring a sack lunch, snack, and a drink. Payable by CHECK only to Advanced Care.

Defensive Driving–Level 1 
This is a four hour class designed to encourage drivers to understand the hazards of driving. We will learn how to keep our focus on driving and not become distracted. We will discuss the dangers of speeding and the importance of wearing seat belts. This class is a great refresher course for the adult driver, or an introductory class for the new driver. This class is taught by a former Colorado State Patrol officer who brings her years of experience working on the highways of Colorado into the classroom.Payable by CASH ONLY day of class.
