Broomfield Days Open Golf Tournament
Friday, September 19 at 1 p.m.
Join us for a beautiful summer morning at the Broadlands Golf Course. Proceeds of the tournament benefit the Senior Programs. Don’Tuesday miss out on this exciting Shotgun event (a four-person scramble tournament.) Sign up for the event of the summer. Contact Dana at 303.464.5530 for more information. The $100 or $400 team fee includes green fees, cart fee, practice balls, lunch, sleeve of balls, tees, divot repair tool, and a GREAT TIME. More information

Broomfield Days Community Festival
Saturday, September 20
Broomfield Days, Broomfield’s annual community festival, is held on Saturday, September 20. This day is packed with activities including a 5K race, a clown contest, a parade, a trade fair, a craft festival, food booths, three stages of entertainment, demonstrations, and great community spirit. This is an opportunity for local organizations to raise money. If you would like information about getting involved in this event, call the Community Center at 303.464.5500 or visit the Broomfield Days webpage. Broomfield Days Concert is Saturday, September 20 from 4:30–6 p.m. at Midway Park. More information will be printed in the 2014 Fall/2015 Winter Brochure.

Living in Balance in Broomfield
Friday, October 3, 2014 from 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
You are invited to the second annual Living in Balance in Broomfield event! Open to adults planning for the future or piecing it together right now. The day includes a vendor fair of local providers for information and resources, a volunteer fair and workshops focusing on nutrition, physical fitness, elder law and lifelong learning. Come for what interests you or stay for the entire day, breakfast and lunch included. Transportation is available for residents 60 years of age and older by reservation only; please call 303.464.5534.

Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Friday, December 5, 2014 at 6 p.m.
Be part of this annual community event when all of Broomfield welcomes the arrival of Santa Claus at the George DiCiero City and County Building. The air is filled with children caroling from the local schools, the Community Park trees are spectacular, the Mayor lights the community holiday tree, families can ride the holiday wagon ride, and children are able to talk to Santa. Bundle up and share in the Holiday Cheer! 

Talk to Santa
Saturday, December 6, 2014
If you are a resident of the City and County of Broomfield and you have a child between the ages of 2 - 8 years who would like to have a personal phone call from Santa Claus, please fill out the Talk to Santa form located at either Broomfield Recreation Center or online. Please have your child home during the hours noted on the form. In order to receive a personal phone call on Saturday, December 6, the form must be returned to the Community Center by Friday, December 5.

Student Art Show 
March 13 - 14, 2015
Each year, Broomfield Recreation Services and the Broomfield Council on the Arts and Humanities sponsor the Student Art Show. Open to students K - 12 attending Broomfield area schools, the show is designed to give students an opportunity to display their work and allow the community a chance to view the quality artwork created by young artists in Broomfield. Students interested in participating in this show should speak with their school’s art teacher. There will be a reception on Friday, March 13 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and the art show will be open on Saturday, March 14 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.. For more information call Dana at 303.464.5530.
