Cell Phone Recycling Program
The leading cell phone companies and retailers have partnered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the states to answer the call for easy cell phone recycling. Recycling just one million cell phones reduces greenhouse gas emissions equal to taking 1,368 cars off the road for a year. The partners in this year-long national campaign include AT&T, Best Buy, LG Electronics, Motorola, Nokia, Office Depot, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Sprint, Staples and T-Mobile. Contact your cell phone provider to know how and where to recycle your used cell phone.
