Colorado Medicaid is public health insurance for either low-income families, children, pregnant women, or for persons who are blind or persons with disabilities, and the elderly. This program provides medical assistance to persons who meet the eligibility requirements, regardless of age.

Child Health Plan Plus (CHP%2B ) is low-cost health insurance for Colorado's uninsured children and pregnant women. CHP%2B is public health insurance for children and pregnant women who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid, but cannot afford private health insurance.
