Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

Saturday, October 4
9 a.m. to noon

Norman Smith Service Center
3001 W. 124th Ave. (just east of Lowell Boulevard)

There are still appointment times available!

PesticidesThis event is for Broomfield residents only, and participants must have an appointment. Residential waste only (no business or commercial waste) will be accepted.

Many products used around the home contain hazardous ingredients and need to be used and stored safely. These products include non-water-based paint, stain and varnish, motor oil, cleaning solvents, pesticides, weed killers, antifreeze, rechargeable batteries, gasoline, aerosol cans, waxes, and wood preservative. Once these products are no longer needed, they become HHW that require proper disposal. See a more detailed list of items to bring to this event.

This is a great opportunity to dispose of your old electronics. Recent state law prohibits any electronic waste from entering a landfill. A maximum of five of each type of electronic component will be accepted from each household.

Call 303.438.6334 to schedule an appointment now! Tell your neighbors about this FREE service offered by Broomfield for its residents.
