Prescription Discount Program

On June 25, 2009, Broomfield began participation in a discount prescription card program offered through the National League of Cities (NLC).  Residents may obtain the discount cards free of charge from a number of sites around Broomfield.  These cards, when shown at participating pharmacies, will help residents save money on prescriptions that are not covered by insurance. There are no forms to fill out to receive a card and there are no eligibility criteria.  Residents may visit any of the following card distribution points in Broomfield to pick up a card:

  • Community Assistance Center in the City and County Building, 1 DesCombes Drive

  • HHS Building at 6 Garden Center

  • Broomfield Community Center at 280 Lamar St.

  • FISH of Broomfield at 26 Garden Center
