Family And Children's Services Connie Linn,Interm Manager Family and Children's Services strives to provide services that are prevention-oriented, integrated, family-centered and research based. One main goal of the Division is family preservation to maintain children in their home with intact families. Ensuring the Safety, Permanency and Well-being for Broomfield's children is the prime goal of the Division. This is accomplished through:
1. Professional staff available 24/7 to respond to
allegations of abuse and neglect, Foster Care, Kinship Care and
Adoption Broomfield Health and Human Services, Foster Care and Kinship Care program provides temporary placement for children who are removed from their home due to abuse and/or neglect. The goal of the Health and Human Services staff is to strengthen the family of origin and safely return children to their homes.

information) Adoption is a legal process that finds permanent homes for children who are unable to live with their family of origin. United Families United Families provides support services to adopted children and their families. The program includes a social support network, opportunities for financial assistance, and resource, referral and assistance. For more information about the United Families program, contact the program coordinator at 720-887-2238. Child Care HHS participates in the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP)
which provides financial child care assistance to eligible families.
Eligibility is based on household income, work status and/or participation in
the Colorado Works Program. The program coordinator also proides general
child care assistance information and coordinates an annual child care summit
for providers. For more information about the child care program, contact

Nurturing Parenting Program Restorative Justice (RJ) The Restorative Justice Program is a set of values and principles that guide the programs, policies and practices of HHS. It is a philosophy that harm to the community and others can be repaired through conferencing and agreements that prevent hurt and provide hope. Juvenile Municipal Probation (JUMP) JUMP is a partnership between HHS and the Broomfield Municipal
Court providing early intervention and direct services to juvenile
offenders. Services include anger management and decision making classes,
substance abuse evaluations and substance abuse groups. For more
