Elected by Ward for a 4-year term. Current term ends November, 2013.

Married to Paul for almost 49 years. We have have two daughters and five grandchildren. Resident of Broomfield since: 1978.

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education from George Williams College in Downers Grove, Ill .

Occupation: Retired from teaching and recreation.

Community Participation: Relay for Life for nine years, Activities Director for Relay for Life, Rotary volunteer, Shark's Swim Team volunteer, Red Cross volunteer, American Heart Association volunteer, Colorado Parks and Recreation Association Aquatics President, Broomfield Swim and Tennis Club Board member, Grant Writer for the City of Lafayette.

Philosophy of Local Government: Local government should serve the people. It should manage growth wisely, be fiscally responsible, and be sustainable in its considerations. Council members should work with the people they represent and be transparent. Our economy right now is a priority and we should follow the Comprehensive Master Plan and its long-range financial plan. We need to assist with Economic Development and stimulate it to maintain the quality of life we all enjoy.
