Colorado has two exemption programs, the Senior Homestead Exemption and the Disabled Veteran Exemption. Please read on to see if you qualify for an exemption and how to apply. What is the reduction? In both cases the exemption reduces the actual value of your residential property by 50% up to a maximum reduction of $100,000.
