    Thursdays, June 5 - July 24. 9:15 - 9:35 a.m. & repeated at 10 - 10:20 a.m. For babies and toddlers, age newborn - 24 months and an accompanying adult. An interactive story time for babies age newborn through 24 months and their parent or caregiver. Enjoy age appropriate books, songs, rhymes, and baby sign language – all intended to promote language development and early literacy in a lively and fun atmosphere! Facts on brain development, early literacy, and social emotional growth are shared throughout the program

  3. Teen - Discovery Lab (Movie Special Effects) - Ages 9-18

    June 12, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ the first floor of the library, left of the circul

    Challenge your movie making skills with special effects and stop motion animation iPad apps. Film yourself or friends or create characters using clay. Open to students ages 9-18, no registration required. The Discovery Lab is located on the first floor to the left of the Circulation Desk.

  4. Children - Eeny, Meeny, Miney, Mo: Neighborhood Games

    June 12, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Children's Library

    June 12 & July 17 For kids entering grades 1 - 5. Learn to play outside group games at the library and take them home to play in your neighborhood! Be active, have a blast and find out how playing is one of the most important things you can do to keep yourself healthy. Presented by our very own Broomfield Public Health Department. Registration required and begins June 4 for the June program. Registration for the July program begins July 1. Call 720-887-2315

  5. Adult- The Wives of Los Alamos

    June 12, 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM @ Eisenhower Room - Library

    Join us for an evening with Author TaraShea Nesbit as she discusses her novel which sheds light onto one of the strangest and most monumental research projects in modern history and its testament to a remarkable group of women who carved out a life for themselves in spite of the chaos of the war and the shroud of intense secrecy.
