  1. Cultural Affairs Presents Colocannon: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Colocannon

    March 15, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Broomfield Auditorium

    Authentic, Joyous Irish Music.... traditional with a touch of chamber music and music hall, Colcannon plays Irish music with panache, warmth and wit. Timeless songs and great musicianship transport the audience to another time and place. Colcannon’s appeal crosses lines of age, gender and ethnic background. Colcannon’s true message is the story of the resilient and joyous human spirit.

  1. Children's - Cats Hat March Reading Program

    March 1 - March 31 @ Children's Library

    All children up to age 12 are invited to participate in out Cat's Hat March Reading Program. Kids need to read 3 books at their level that they have never read before, write the titles of the books on a Cat's Hat tally sheet and put it in the cat's hat on the desk in the Children's Library. Non-readers may be read to. Starting Saturday, March 1, tally sheets can be picked up in the Children's Library or downloads from the Children's Library website at www.broomfieldchildrenslibrary.org, then click on Special Events. You may enter as many times as you like! All entries are due by closing on Monday, march 31. A drawing will be held after the contest ends to pick 5 winners. Winners will receive a colorful Cat's hat!

  2. Children's - Third Saturday Fun

    March 15, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM @ Children's Library Story Room

    For grades K-2. Registration Required, 720-887-2315 "Dr. Seuss on the Loose!" Fun with books, games and a special craft!

  3. Teen - Electronic Greeting Cards - Grades 6-12

    March 15, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ the Eisenhower Room, on the 2nd floor of the libra

    Spark your creative skills while learning about electricity! Use conductive paint to design electronic greeting cards that will light up for your friends and family. Registration required. Stop by the Teen Zone Desk or call 720-887-2360. Grades 6-12

  1. Broomfield Depot Museum Presents a Yarn In!

    March 15, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM @ Zang Spur Park

    March 15: Yarn In! Knit or crochet? Bring your own projects or help with an upcoming top secret project involving the depot. All events begin at noon and are free of charge. No tickets or preregistration is required, however, seating is limited. The museum is open for tours every Saturday from noon to 3:00 p.m.
