Dogs, cats and ferrets must be vaccinated against rabies and have the tags attached at all times. Pets vaccinated within the city can be licensed at the local veterinarian's. If you have a pet that was vaccinated outside the city, a license can be obtained free of charge by bringing the vaccination verification to the Community Assistance Center, One DesCombes Dr., Broomfield, (303) 469-3301.

Beginning in March 2009 through September 2009, you can have a microchip implanted in your cat for free.  Visit Chip Your Cat for information on participating veterinarians.
