CODES

has proposed a new ordinance that modifies the current
building code regarding re-roofing with asphalt
shingles.There will be a public
hearing regarding this change on April 24, 2012, at 6:00
pm in the Council Chambers.
Proposed Ordinance No. 1953

Municipal Code to allow up to two layers of asphalt shingles on
re-roof permits.
Broomfield has adopted the 2009 Series of International Codes with
an effective date of Monday, March 7, 2011. Plan submittal date does not
determine which code will be enforced. Permits ISSUED on or after the
effective date shall comply with the newly adopted 2009 codes. You may

ordinance which includes local amendments to the 2009 International Codes.
This is not the complete

permits and inspections. Contractors and other permit applicants
may register to schedule inspections on-line. No registration is
necessary for public access information.
