Rocky Mountain Brassworks continues its concert season with its most popular performance, “Celtic Storm” featuring the Centennial State Pipes and Drums bagpipe corps as well as a talented troupe of highland dancers. By popular demand, Denver’s only authentic brass band will perform at the Broomfield Auditorium on Saturday, March 8th at 4:00pm. Enjoy your favorite Celtic music selections including Danny Boy, Scotland the Brave and Riverdance.

This class will give you the tools you need to prepare a landscape design for water conservation and year-round enjoyment. Learn the landscape designer's "7 Principles of Xeriscape," soil amendments, proper irrigation, and the use of appropriate plants. We will introduce low-water-use landscape ideas to reduce turf areas, create useable spaces, and enhance visual appeal of your yard.
March 1 - March 31 @ Children's Library
All children up to age 12 are invited to participate in out Cat's Hat March Reading Program. Kids need to read 3 books at their level that they have never read before, write the titles of the books on a Cat's Hat tally sheet and put it in the cat's hat on the desk in the Children's Library. Non-readers may be read to. Starting Saturday, March 1, tally sheets can be picked up in the Children's Library or downloads from the Children's Library website at www.broomfieldchildrenslibrary.org, then click on Special Events. You may enter as many times as you like! All entries are due by closing on Monday, march 31. A drawing will be held after the contest ends to pick 5 winners. Winners will receive a colorful Cat's hat!

March 8: Showing of Broomfield’s 50th Anniversary documentary Broomfield: Spirit of the American Dream. Visitors will have a chance to see artifacts related to subjects in the video.
All events begin at noon and are free of charge. No tickets or preregistration is required, however, seating is limited.
The museum is open for tours every Saturday from noon to 3:00 p.m.
