  1. Children - "Reading With Ringling"

    September 10, All Day @ Children's Library

    The Children’s Library presents a back-to-school reading program “Reading with Ringling”! Visit the library in September and pick up a Ringling Rewards Club Card for children ages 2 – 12 years. Just read any 5 books of your choice and return the card to the library to be stamped. Ringling Rewards Club Cards can be exchanged in advance at the circus box office for a FREE circus ticket. One adult ticket must be purchased for every three FREE kids’ tickets redeemed. See library for more details. Stop in now – program runs from September 1 - September 30, supplies are limited and the circus comes to town in October.   2. Children - Preschool Story Time

    September 10, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Children's Library Story Room

    Preschoolers enjoy stories and songs that develop early literacy skills and foster curiosity. This program is reserved for children ages 3 - 5 who can sit on their own and comfortably participate in a variety of literature based activities geared towards preparing children for learning to read. Asking children to attend without their caregivers helps to develop a sense of independence that will be needed as they start school. No registration required.Stop at the Children's Desk for a name tag and a ticket. This program is repeated on Thursdays,1:30 p.m.. - 2:00 p.m..

  3. Teen - Boost Your Brain - Grades 6 - 12

    September 10, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ the Eisenhower Room, on the 2nd floor of the library, unless otherwise noted.

    Free math and science tutoring. Half-hour sessions available every Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. in the Teen Zone.This program is for teens in grades 6 -12. Registration is required and may be done at the Teen Zone desk or by calling the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library Young Adult Department at 720.887.2360.
