  1. Golden Eagle Concert Band presents Summer Pops Concert

    July 20, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Broomfield Auditorium

    The Golden Eagle Concert Band (GECB) is a 50 piece all-volunteer adult community band, consisting of men and women of all ages and backgrounds. The GECB is active throughout the Denver metropolitan area and Colorado, presenting American band music from the turn of the 20th century through the 1940s, by composers such as John Phillip Sousa, Karl King, Jerome Kern, George & Ira Gershwin, George M. Cohan, and others of that era. The organization is a full-fledged concert band, including brass, reed and percussion instruments. The GECB is now in its 33rd year of providing great American band music and great entertainment to the public. Check out their website at www.goldeneagleconcertband.org.

    Children’s Library Summer Reading Program 2013 The Children's Library at the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library will begin registration for the 2013 Summer Reading Program, “Dig into Reading!”, starting on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in the Children's Library. Children from birth through those starting 5th grade can register to read and earn prizes! Register between June 1 and July 19. The program runs June 1 - July 31, Come and join us at the library for a summer of reading and fun! Call the Children's Library at 720-887-2315 for more information about all of our summer programs!

    July 20, 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM @ 3 Community Park Road

    Come ANYTIME between 10:30 a.m - 2:30 p.m. For children, newborns - 5 years & an adult. Sign in at the library entrance in the lobby. Come and play with your kids. Enjoy fun, interactive early literacy stations: play post office, interactive poetry, baby sign language instruction, making music, puppet play, social emotional literacy activities with Bal Swan Children's Center, super fun craft and much more. Each participating child ages newborn - 5 years will receive a free book.
