  1. Children - Family Early Literacy Time

    November 2, 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM @ Children's Story Room

    Families of all ages are welcome, but the focus will be newborns - Pre-K. Stories, books, fingerplays and songs will focus on an early literacy skill, followed by a fun craft. Families will have the opportunity to practice activities they can use at home to learn early literacy skills needed for children to become successful learners in school. Please pick up a FREE ticket at the Children's Desk the morning of the program. Held on the first Saturday of the month.

  2. Teen - Biochemistry - Ages 9 - 14

    November 2, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ the Eisenhower Room, on the 2nd floor of the library.

    Through demonstrations and activities, CU Science Discovery will show some of the chemical reactions found in metabolism, respiration, and bioluminescence. For ages 9 - 14. Registration is required and may be done at the Teen Zone desk or by calling the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library Young Adult Department at 720.887.2360.
