  1. Broomfield Music Teachers Association: Marvelous Musicales

    October 19, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Broomfield Auditorium

    Marvelous Musicales provide and opportunity for music students of all ages to perform on Broomfield Auditorium stage and utilize the “Audi’s” grand piano, either by piano solo performance or accompaniment. If last year is any indication, a wide range of solo instruments, singers and pianists will perform this season. Folk, jazz, classical and contemporary music are welcome along with musical theater. Musicales are held three times a season, in October, February and April on Saturday in the afternoon.

  2. Alfredo Muro: The Art of Brazilian Guitar

    October 19, 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM @ Broomfield Auditorium

    Alfredo Muro has been described as a Latin virtuoso, but his musical styles and tastes are far more versatile, ranging from standard classical repertoire to jazz. His forte is South American music in its many guises: folk, jazz, Brazilian, classical. Whatever the style, it's the emotional content of his music that carries the day.

    October 19, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM @ Children's Library Story Room

    "Be a Jungle Explorer!" Fun with Books, activities and a craft. We will be making an explorer costume! This program is for children who are enrolled in Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade. Kindergarten guidelines are that children be at least 5 years old by 9/30/2013 and in an elementary level kindergarten program, (not Pre-K). Registration required. 720-887-2315

    National Chemistry Week is here! Join Sandoz scientists for hands-on experiments that celebrate the fascinating science of chemistry. For ages 9 - 14.
