  1. Children - Cats Hat March Reading Program

    March 31, All Day @ Children's Library

    Cats Hat Reading Program, Sunday, March 1- Tuesday March 31 All Children up to age 12 are invited to participate in our Cat's Hat March Reading Program. Kids need to read 3 books at their level that they have never read before, write the titles of the books on a Cat's Hat tally sheet and put it in the cat's hat on the desk in the Children's Library. Non-readers may be read to. Starting Sunday, March 1, tally sheets can be picked up in the Children's Library or downloaded from the Children’s Library website at www.broomfieldchildrenslibrary.org, then click on Special Events. You may enter as many times as you like! All entries are due by closing on Tuesday, March 31. A drawing will be held after the contest ends to pick 5 winners. Winners will receive a colorful Cat's Hat!

  2. Children - Preschool Story Time

    March 31, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Children's Library Story Room

    Preschool Story Time For children 3 - 5 years who can sit on their own Tuesdays 10:30 -11 a.m. or Thursdays 1:30-2 p.m. Preschoolers enjoy stories and songs that develop early literacy skills and foster curiosity. This program is reserved for children ages three to five who can sit on their own and comfortably participate in a variety of literature based activities geared towards preparing children for learning to read. Asking children to attend without their caregivers helps to develop a sense of independence that will be needed as they start school. No registration required.

  3. Teen - Boost Your Brain - Grades 6-12

    March 31, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ the Eisenhower Room, on the 2nd floor of the libra

    Free math and science tutoring. Half hour sessions available every Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm in the Eisenhower Room. This program is free for teens in grades 6-12. Registration is required and may be done at the Teen Zone Desk or by calling the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library Young Adult Department at 720.887.2360.
