    The Colorado Miss Amazing Organization is a division of Miss Amazing Inc., a nonprofit organization founded in Nebraska in 2007 whose mission is to provide opportunities for girls and women with disabilities to build self-confidence through the skills learned in pageantry. The pageant is open to girls and women with disabilities ages 5 and older. Participants show their abilities in their evening gown on stage, in an interview with judges, and as they introduce themselves to the audience. All participants are awarded with a trophy and crown and one person from each age group is selected to represent her peers throughout the year.
